Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina (Bosna i Hercegovina) is on the Miljacka River, and features the cobblestone streets in Baščaršija Old Town with the labyrinthine alleys winding through the Old Bazaar, the iconic Sebilj Brunnen Fountain, the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, and Gazi Husrev Begova Madrasa. Memorials to the remembrances of war are spread through the city, including the Eternal Flame, a symbol of hope and resilience; neighborhood and hilltop climbing cemeteries; and Sarajevo roses, scarred concrete from mortar shell explosions filled with blood-like red resin, resembling pools of blood.
